Design, issue and verify Moodle certificates with a visual designer and preserved issued documents.

    One-time unlock: 50 Credits ($5 USD) · Current release: 1.1.0

    Installation and setup

Back up Moodle first. Install the extracted plugin folder at mod/certificatepro. Check the downloaded release’s Requirements for its declared Moodle and PHP compatibility.

    1. Install Certificate Pro and complete the Moodle administrator upgrade.
    2. Add a Certificate Pro activity to a course. Configure issuance and Moodle access restrictions before making it available.
    3. Design the certificate, preview the actual PDF and test it with a learner account before issuing awards.
    Using this plugin
    • Arrange certificate elements with the visual designer, alignment guides and reusable artwork.
    • Choose automatic or authorised manual issuance. Learners download documents they are permitted to access.
    • Use public verification and QR codes to check an issued document’s status.
    • For integrated certification cycles, use a dedicated issuer bound to the program. Preserve ordinary course awards separately.
    Permissions and evidence safeguards
    • Course restrictions and evidence must be satisfied before automatic issuance.
    • An issued document is a historical snapshot; later template edits must not rewrite existing awards.
    • Revoked documents must not be offered as current downloadable credentials.
    • Certificate validity and competency certification are not interchangeable. For AI artwork, check the applicable provider and pricing before generating.
