    ⭐ Why this plugin is unlike anything else available

    Moodle-native slide presentations with completion tracking

    ▸ External slide tools (Google Slides, PowerPoint embedded via iFrame) don't integrate with Moodle completion. Learners can skip to the last slide without engaging with the content, and Moodle has no way to know they didn't read it. Slideshow is a Moodle activity module — completion is only triggered when the learner reaches the final slide.

    ▸ Slides are created inside Moodle's text editor. No external presentation software, no file export, no embed code. Teachers build slides in the same interface they use for course content.

    ▸ Offline-capable: the slide content is served as a standard Moodle page, so it works in the Moodle mobile app without requiring an internet connection during playback.

    How It Works

    1. Add a Slideshow activity to your Moodle™ course
    2. Upload images individually or import a PowerPoint file to auto-convert slides
    3. Add video slides by pasting a YouTube URL or direct video URL, or uploading an MP4/WebM file — choose any position in the sequence
    4. Add poster image slides by uploading a standalone image at any slide position
    5. Set watch-time gating on video slides — require full playback or a minimum number of seconds before the learner can advance
    6. Write voiceover scripts for image slides using the per-slide text editor
    7. Generate voiceover from your scripts through the configured LMS Labs service (currently backed by Google Chirp 3 HD); 1 credit per slide
    8. Reorder slides with drag-and-drop — images, videos, and posters all share one unified sequence
    9. Students view the slideshow with a responsive carousel, video player, and voiceover narration
    10. Completion tracked when all required voiceovers have been listened to and all gated videos have been watched

    Installation

    1. Download mod_slideshow.zip from the button above
    2. In Moodle™, go to Site administration → Plugins → Install plugins
    3. Upload the ZIP file and click "Install plugin from the ZIP file"
    4. Follow the prompts to complete installation
    5. Configure your AI Grader Central Config with Site ID and API Key for voiceover credits
    6. Add a Slideshow activity to any course to start creating visual training content
