⭐ Why this plugin is unlike anything else available

Purpose-built slide types for structured learning — no third-party service, no per-use cost

▸ Every existing slide/presentation tool for Moodle either embeds an external service (H5P, Genially, PowerPoint embed) or displays a static PDF. Slides is a native Moodle activity built entirely in PHP and AMD JavaScript — no external service, no per-use cost, no SCORM packaging required.

▸ Flip cards and matching activities are interactive learning elements, not just presentation slides — providing self-assessment and engagement within the same activity, without needing a separate quiz or H5P embed.

▸ Completion tracking is built in — when a student views all slides, Moodle marks the activity complete. This triggers cascading completion in course completion, Training Pathways, and any other completion-dependent activity or resource.

    Slide Types

Choose from introduction, image-text, poster, flip cards, matching activity, video, and summary slides — each designed for a specific content need.

    Interactive Elements

Flip cards and matching activities are interactive — students engage with the content, not just scroll past it.

    Completion Tracking

Moodle completion fires when all slides are viewed. Integrates with course completion and Training Pathways for sequential unit progression.

    Slide Types

Each slide type is purpose-built for a specific content or interaction goal. Mix and match types within a single activity to build a complete learning sequence.

    Introduction

Title slide with heading, subtitle, and optional background colour. Sets the context for the learning sequence.

    Image + Text

Side-by-side layout with an image on one side and formatted text on the other. The core content slide type.

    Image Poster

Full-bleed image layout with an optional caption overlay. Use for visual impact or infographic-style content.

    Flip Cards

Interactive flip cards for term-and-definition or question-and-answer content. Students click to reveal the back of each card.

    Matching Activity

Drag-and-drop matching activity. Students pair items from two columns — instant feedback on correct or incorrect matches.

    Video Slide

Embed a YouTube, Vimeo, or direct video URL. Video plays inline within the slide sequence without leaving the activity.

    Summary

Closing slide with a key-points list and optional call-to-action. Used to consolidate learning before completion triggers.
