When a course is updated, every enrolled learner immediately sees the changed content — including learners mid-way through an older version whose completion pathway may have been altered. Course Version lets administrators publish a new version while enrolled learners continue on the version they started.

▸ Released versions with enrolments or assessment attempts are automatically locked to protect student results, so administrators archive old versions and publish new ones without altering the pathway learners are already on.

▸ Version history is maintained: administrators can see which learners completed which version of a course — important for compliance evidence where the content of the training matters.
