Enforces prior course completion before enrolment — not just activity completion
▸ Moodle's native enrolment conditions check dates, grades, and individual activity completion. Course Prerequisite checks a configurable list of prior completed Moodle courses — with per-target AND/OR unlock modes (require all prerequisites, or any one) — before allowing enrolment in the next.
▸ The learner sees exactly which prerequisite courses they still need to complete, with direct links to enrol. The barrier is informative, not a dead end.
▸ Works with any enrolment method. Prerequisite checks fire on enrolment attempt regardless of whether the learner is self-enrolling, being manually enrolled by an admin, or syncing from an external system.
Course Prerequisite is a gatekeeper enrolment plugin that intercepts and suspends enrolments from other methods (cohort sync, manual, self-enrol) until prerequisite courses are completed. This is fundamentally different from blocking enrolment - students ARE enrolled but with suspended status.
