Give structure a sense of place.
Select a regional pack; review and approve any AI-drafted content before learners see it.
Rotate, zoom and isolate structures in Study, then move through Practice and the graded Test.
From setup to learning
A starting path for teachers. Review learner-facing material before using it in class.
- 01
Choose an anatomy pack
Select the relevant interactive 3D content for the topic you are teaching.
- 02
Set up the activity
Place the pack in a Moodle course and configure the learning experience.
- 03
Explore and respond
Learners inspect structures, then work through text-based questions and speech-supported content.
Inside the anatomy activity
Study, Practice, Test
Study offers drill-down, labels and structure cards. Practice moves through Label it, Find it and questions with feedback. Test locks submitted rounds and is marked on the server.
Pack provenance
The v1.2.14 release includes 15 regional BodyParts3D packs, with attribution in each pack. The README records 374 structures and 442 ready-to-use questions.
Teacher approval
AI fill, questions and translations produce drafts. Teachers can inspect, edit and approve them; the built-in library content can also be used without AI generation.
Preparing voiceover
Card narration can be prepared in the background. If generation is not available, learners can continue without voiceover. Existing stored clips can be replayed without regeneration.
What the activity brings
Interactive 3D packs
Explore anatomical structures spatially rather than relying only on static illustrations.
Questions alongside exploration
Text questions help connect what learners see to the concepts they need to retain.
Speech in the experience
Speech adds another way to engage with the anatomy content.
Know what is separate
Operation credits
The v1.2.14 handover documents 3 credits per successful text operation and 1 credit per successful voice clip of up to 200 characters. Failed operations are not charged. The one-time plugin acquisition is separate; confirm the live quote before proceeding. Installed-Moodle acceptance against the live service was not completed in that handover.
Important boundary. Anatomical identity comes from BodyParts3D pack data, not from AI. Voiceover is generated separately and may be unavailable without entitlement or credits.
Installation
Installation is an administrator action. Do not use a candidate attachment as a substitute for a verified release.
- 01
Obtain the release
Once a promoted release is available, complete the required access verification and obtain the verified ZIP from LMS Labs.
- 02
Install in Moodle
As a site administrator, go to Site administration → Plugins → Install plugins, upload the ZIP and follow Moodle’s validation and upgrade prompts.
- 03
Add to a course
Enable editing in a course and add AI Anatomy as an activity. Configure it before opening it to learners.
Plugin location: /mod/aianatomy/
Frequently asked questions
Does this provide a verified download?
Only when the live release manifest confirms a promoted ZIP and its SHA-256. A candidate ZIP or this guide alone does not open access.
Is Moodle compatibility confirmed?
Compatibility is shown only from verified release metadata when available. Test against your own Moodle environment before rollout.
Does AI identify the structures?
No. The v1.2.14 pack contains the anatomical structures and IDs. AI drafts teaching text and questions for teacher approval.
Is a Test suitable for high-stakes exams?
The model file is shared across modes. The release documentation recommends Test for learning checks and graded practice, not high-stakes exams.
